Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) for our Heavy jet aircraft operations under Part 91 and 135. The candidate must live in or relocate to the base area and be willing to relocate for a 2-hour call out time.

The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and ensures safe, efficient operation in compliance with CFRs and company procedures. Strong hours and flight-time requirements apply, including ATP and 1st Class Medical.

Qualifications

• Total Time: 2500 hours as a baseline requirement.
• Total PIC: 500 hours to qualify for the SIC role.
• Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours minimum for capability.
• Total Turbine: 100 hours minimum to handle jet operations.
• Total Instrument: 150 hours required for IFR readiness.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times per company and CFR rules.
• Coordinate standby duty, trip notifications, and pre/post flight reports.
• Oversee electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and apps.
• Ensure navigation charts and company manuals are current.
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Demonstrate Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.
