Job summary

Jet Linx in Teterboro, NJ seeks a Second in Command for Gulfstream GV to support Part 91/135 operations. The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and ensures safe, efficient aircraft operations per CFRs and company procedures.

Requirements include 2,500 hours total time, 500 hours PIC, 500 hours multi-engine, 100 hours turbine, 150 hours instrument, a Bachelor's degree, and ability to travel internationally. Compensation ranges from $135,000 to $170,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Total time required is 2,500 hours.
• PIC time must be at least 500 hours.
• Multi-engine flight time at least 500 hours.
• Turbine flight time at least 100 hours.
• Instrument time at least 150 hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times per CFRs and company rules.
• Communicate standby duties, trip notifications, and flight reports.
• Maintain EFB hardware and applications for operations.
• Keep navigation charts and company manuals current.
• Hold a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Demonstrate proactive decision-making and Jet Linx values.
• Support night, weekend, and holiday operations.
