Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking a Second in Command for our midsize jet aircraft operating Part 91 and 135. This full-time role is based in Hayward, CA. Applicants must live in or relocate to the base area and be within a 2-hour call-out of their home base.

The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and helps ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with CFRs and company procedures. The position requires 2,000 total hours, 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine and 150 instrument, plus a 1st Class

Qualifications

• Total Time: 2000 hours minimum.
• Total PIC: 500 hours minimum.
• Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours minimum.
• Total Turbine: 100 hours minimum.
• Total Instrument: 150 hours minimum.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times per company and CFR requirements.
• Maintain communication with the company for standby duties, trip notices and reports.
• Maintain EFB hardware and applications and current navigation charts.
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Demonstrate proactive decision-making and uphold Jet Linx values.
• Travel as required and work nights, weekends and holidays.
