Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Signal & Power Integrity Engineer to craft innovative SI/PI solutions for high-speed interconnects and complex system designs. You will model, simulate and optimize PDN across packages and PCBs, leveraging 3D EM tools and lab measurements to improve accuracy.

You will collaborate across teams, automate simulations with JMP/MATLAB, and contribute to system-level timing and loss budgets.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• SI/PI work on PCIe/USB/SATA/HDMI/HBM/GDDR6/LPSDDR5X.
• Hands-on use of 3-D modeling tools like ANSYS HFSS/Q3D and 2.5-D with ANSYS SIWAVE or similar.
• PDN evaluation using layout extraction tools and spice-based time-domain sims.

Responsibilities

• Craft SI solutions to complex system design problems.
• Perform system-level SI simulations for high-speed interfaces (PCIe5, USB-4, GPUs).
• Model vias, connectors, sockets and system components in 3D EM tools.
• Design and optimize PDN across packages and PCBs.
• Improve SI/PI models via lab measurements.
• Automate simulations and visualize data with JMP, MATLAB or similar.
