RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Should Cost Engineer to design, build and operationalize a should-cost capability that delivers cost transparency to sourcing across components, assemblies and defense products. The role is remote in the United States.

You will lead cost modeling, use aPriori and regression models, train users, and support negotiations with suppliers, with travel minimal.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 7–10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with should-cost tools and cost benchmarking.

Aufgaben

• Lead cost modeling and benchmarking across complex assemblies and parts.
• Develop and maintain cost rollups and drivers for supplier negotiations.
• Translate drawings and models into costed elements (material, labor, OH).
• Train users and contribute to standard work upgrades.
• Conduct should-cost assessments using aPriori.
