Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking a Senior Shipping Associate - Exceptions to handle global customer orders and ensure same-day shipping. The role focuses on resolving order exceptions and system errors, with onsite attendance required. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30 p.m.

to 10:00 p.m., in a fast-paced distribution environment. Starting pay ranges by shift, with potential bonuses for select full-time roles. Relocation and sign-on bonuses may be offered for qualifying positions.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and handle errors on orders that do not auto post.
• Process orders with carrier software and ensure accurate delivery.
• Read order notes and determine next steps in processing.
• Coordinate across Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, AR, and PDC.
• Enter dimensions/weights for non-conveyable or palletized items.
• Re-palletize, wrap, and band products as needed.
• Ensure truck logs and shipping documents are completed.
• Support carriers; manage shipping cages and pallet movements.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklift equipment.
