Job summary

ADVANTAGE MEDIA SERVICES LLC in Provo, Utah, is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee all shipping and transportation operations within the warehouse. You will be the on-floor point of contact for shipping processes, resolve daily issues, and ensure shipments meet client and company expectations while complying with transportation laws.

This role collaborates with Operations, the Logistics Supervisor, and the Manager to train staff, audit packing and shipping, optimize routing and carrier

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of 3PL operations.
• Must be or become DOT and IATA hazmat certified within the first 90 days.
• Effective communication (verbal and written).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Team-focused with ownership mentality and resilience under pressure.
• Experience in domestic transportation or distribution.
• Understanding of rate logic and weights/DIMs.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation and on-floor shipping processes.
• Lead daily reporting for shippers and building teams.
• Track issues by client and line for proactive resolution.
• Coordinate with shippers to meet client expectations per Logistics guidance.
• Train employees in packing and shipping functions.
• Support cross-functional teams to maintain efficiencies and procedures.
• Analyze shipments and shipper performance to identify improvements.
• Oversee sort and carrier pickups.
• Advise Operations on hazmat processes and labeling.
• Create BOLs as needed for DHL eCOM international.
