The Shipping Supervisor plays a crucial role in the Logistics department by overseeing all shipping and transportation operations at their assigned location. They act as a primary point of contact for shipping-related processes on the floor, resolving day-to-day shipping issues and collaborating with Operations, the Logistics Supervisor, and Manager to ensure shipments are processed correctly. The Shipping Supervisor also audits client processes, packing processes, shipping, and scanning procedures, and ensures shipments meet client expectations, AMS' expectations, and transportation laws. They work closely with Operations Management teams on training and personnel to ensure proper processes are followed. This role reports directly to the Logistics Supervisor.
This job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes as well as noisy and loud surroundings. This role typically requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
