Job summary

Plastic Printers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Professional to own daily shipping operations. You will manage high-volume domestic and international shipments, select carriers, prepare documentation, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will work across UPS WorldShip, ShipStation, FedEx, and other platforms, mentoring teammates and improving processes to drive accuracy and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of directly relevant, professional shipping experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience executing high-volume shipping.
• Experience with domestic and international shipments and documentation.
• Ability to mentor others and help ensure established shipping processes are understood and executed accurately.
• On-site work Monday through Friday.
• Forklift experience or ability to become certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Personally execute daily shipping and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Process high-volume domestic and international shipments with required documentation.
• Work across multiple platforms including UPS WorldShip, ShipStation, FedEx, and comparable systems.
• Determine carrier, service level, packaging, and shipping method per shipment.
• Coordinate Freight/LTL shipments, including scheduling pickups and tracking delivery.
• Execute customer-specific shipping requirements including branding, labels, and special instructions.
• Verify addresses, quantities, documentation, labels, packaging, and tracking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues, carrier discrepancies, damaged or lost shipments.
• Mentor less-experienced team members and reinforce proper shipping procedures.
• Work with Production, Fulfillment, Customer Service to keep shipments moving.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping methods, packaging, carrier utilization, costs, accuracy, and efficiency.
