Job summary

PCC Structurals - Carson City is seeking a Level III Shipping Coordinator to manage order tracking, shipment priorities, and carrier coordination on a fast-paced dock. You will back up the Shipping Supervisor and help lead daily workflow to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Production, Quality, Sales, and leadership, reviewing documentation, and mentoring junior coordinators while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with shipping requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading daily work, coordinating employees, or serving as a supervisor backup preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and shipping documentation preferred.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, freight, and carrier scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track scheduled orders and maintain visibility into daily shipments.
• Lead daily dock meetings on shipment priorities and sales objectives.
• Monitor shipment performance against daily goals.
• Identify orders at risk and follow up until resolved.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Sales, and leadership to remove barriers to shipment.
• Train and mentor Level I/II Shipping Coordinators.
• Maintain a safe, clean shipping dock.
• Review documentation before products leave the facility.
