Job summary

BCI Solutions is seeking a dependable Dock Coordinator to manage shipping dock activities on a hands-on, non-supervisory basis. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work with a team on a busy dock.

You will arrange outbound shipments, enter information into systems, verify data, and communicate with supervisors and leads. The role involves standing and moving on a dock in an active manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using computers and performing basic data entry.
• Familiar with programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, leads, drivers, and coworkers.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and typing skills.
• Ability to follow established work instructions and procedures.
• Dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and adjust to changing priorities.
• Previous management or supervisory experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate shipments leaving the BCI dock.
• Enter shipping and other required information into company systems.
• Review information for errors or discrepancies and make corrections when appropriate.
• Communicate with supervisors and leads regarding shipping issues or changing priorities.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient dock area.
• Ensure product quality is maintained throughout the shipping process.
• Perform other dock and shipping-related duties as needed.
