Job summary

Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, WI seeks skilled Carpenters for all joinery functions on luxury yacht construction. Build and install floors, walls, ceilings, cabinetry, doors, and millwork across the vessel during the full construction phase.

Read blueprints, measure with decimal/fractal tape, and operate common shop tools. Multiple skill levels with progression; 1st shift, 6:00am–3:30pm Mon–Thu and 6:00am–10:00am Fri. Competitive hourly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English required.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements.
• Must operate common carpentry tools safely.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to shipyard environments.
• Flexibility to work various shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen with measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
• Learn to identify shipboard millwork materials (teak, mahogany, laminates).
• Perform basic hand tool use and layout work.
• Develop proficiency in reading blueprints and following instructions.
• Support senior carpenters in installation and finishing tasks.
