Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and perform basic measurements.

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to learn across skill levels 1–4.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen with measuring, cutting and fitting wood.
• Identify shipboard millwork materials (teak, mahogany, laminates).
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
• Carry materials and maintain clean work areas.
• Pre-cut and prepare parts according to templates or supervisor instructions.
• Develop proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Follow instructions and company policies.
