Job summary

Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, WI is seeking an Electrician to install and repair electrical systems and components on luxury yachts during construction and delivery. This hourly, full-time position requires basic and advanced wiring skills and the ability to coordinate with outside contractors.

You will start at Skill Level 1 and may advance to Levels 2 and 3 based on performance, training, and company needs.

Qualifications

Read and write in English.
Ability to read decimal or fractional tape measure.
Physical strength to perform standing, bending, squatting and kneeling and climbing.
Work with hands and arms overhead for extended periods.
Willingness to learn new jobs and take instructions.
Be flexible and willing to work various shift schedules as required.

Responsibilities

Develop proficiency in reading blueprints.
Perform basic layout work.
Organize and stock necessary parts.
Perform rough-in wiring.
Labeling and identifying cables and wiring systems.
Possess knowledge and ability to work on 220/110 Volt AC Systems as well as single and 3 phase systems.
Maintain and ensure required quality by regular self-inspection and asking for critique from more experienced co-workers and supervisors.
Produce work that is accurate, of the required quality with the proper appearances and within a reasonable and acceptable time.
Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions and policies that can be given either orally or in written form (bill of materials, diagrams, blueprints and schematics)
