Job summary

Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI seeks a Marine Carpenter to craft interior woodwork, cabinetry, and trim for luxury yachts. You will read blueprints and install cabinetry, panels, and doors with precision to meet exacting standards.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm on the 1st shift, offering a competitive benefits package including health coverage, tuition reimbursement, profit-sharing, and a 401k match. Prior finish carpentry and woodworking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in finish carpentry, cabinet making, or woodworking.
• Ability to use woodworking tools including table saws, routers, jigs, and hand tools.
• High-end craftsmanship and strong attention to detail.
• Comfort reading blueprints and layout instructions; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fit, and install wood components including trim, panels, cabinetry, and doors.
• Read blueprints, layout drawings, and work instructions to build according to spec.
• Use hand tools and woodworking machines to measure, saw, sand, and assemble parts.
• Fit and finish joinery with attention to symmetry, spacing, and surface quality.
• Ensure tight tolerances and smooth transitions between wood and other materials.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold safety and quality standards.
