Job summary

Blackwatch International Corporation is seeking a Ship Cost Estimator (SCE) – Low Senior to support NAVSEA PMS 470 contract in the DC metro area. This role requires an active SECRET clearance and strong cost estimating expertise across ships and subsystems.

You will perform parametric tradeoff studies, use U.S. Navy costing tools such as VAMOSC and OSCAM, and develop program life cycle cost estimates. Full-time position with competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, math, economics, engineering, or naval architecture.
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-related analysis and assessments of ships, submarines, and related ship systems.
• Perform parametric tradeoff studies and assess cost estimates.
• Proficient with modern computational tools and spreadsheets for cost assessments.
• Develop program life cycle cost estimates and conduct technology tradeoff studies.
