Job summary

Tecolote Research is seeking a mid-level cost estimator in Arlington, VA to support Navy programs within the Department of the Navy. You will develop Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Independent Cost Estimates, and Independent Cost Assessments for ACAT I efforts and provide analytic support to senior leaders.

Required are 4+ years of DoD cost estimating experience, a related bachelor's degree, and MS Office proficiency. Active DoD Secret Clearance is required; ICEAA/CCEA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of DoD acquisition / cost estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering or related field required.
• 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework including calculus.
• Experience with DoD acquisition programs; MDAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in cost analysis theories, principles, and practices.
• Experience developing Economic Analyses, Analyses of Alternatives, and Affordability Analyses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• DoD Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop / conduct Life Cycle Cost Estimates, ICEs and ICAs for DON programs.
• Provide ICE/CCE development support and analytical services for key milestones and reviews.
• Perform economic analyses and present findings to senior leaders in the DON.
