Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Production Senior Specialist to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end CRM campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder and Automation Studio. You will own full lifecycle delivery, implement complex journey logic, optimize data processes, and mentor junior developers while collaborating with marketing, data, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
• Strong expertise across Journey Builder & Automation Studio, AMPscript (required) and SSJS (preferred).
• Deep SFMC data model knowledge: Data Extensions, Data Views, Contact Builder.
• Experience with API integrations and triggered sends.
• Production environments experience with high-volume campaigns; QA-focused.
• Excellent communication in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud / CDP and Litmus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end CRM campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Build scalable solutions using AMPscript, SQL, and APIs.
• Own full lifecycle delivery: requirements, build, QA, deployment, monitoring.
• Implement complex journey logic including entry criteria and deduplication.
• Develop and optimize data processes and automations for accuracy.
• Perform rigorous QA and validation, data checks, and journey testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Review peer code and provide actionable feedback to reduce defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact CRM campaigns.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tooling, and performance.
