Job summary

zerohash is seeking a Senior Settlement & Trading Operations Engineer to own the day-to-day settlement and trading operations of our global value transfer infrastructure. You will resolve complex breaks, mentor peers, and coordinate releases with Product and Engineering while ensuring precision and reliability.

You'll write SQL and Python, analyze transaction logs, and manage end-to-end processing of crypto and fiat movements.

Qualifications

• Experience owning end-to-end settlement and trading operations.
• Strong ability to reconcile across ledgers and bank statements.
• Comfort working in production and handling go-lives.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own daily settlement and trading operations end-to-end across crypto and fiat movements.
• Run reconciliations across internal ledgers, bank and custodian statements, and partner files.
• Manage the trade lifecycle from execution to settlement and handle exceptions safely.
• Investigate failed transfers, mismatched balances, and stuck flows using production logs.
• Write Python code to automate reconciliations, liquidations, and recurring tasks.
• Support go-lives and asset listings with feedback to Product and Engineering.
