Job summary

zerohash is seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to architect and build the infrastructure powering digital asset transactions across multiple networks. The role emphasizes detailed technical work, ownership, and a drive to learn new technologies within a fast-paced crypto platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in FinTech.
• Deep proficiency with Go and distributed systems.
• Understanding of blockchain technologies and their applications.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Familiarity with message brokers or event streaming systems (NATS, Kafka, or similar).
• Experience with MongoDB or other document databases.
• Understanding of SQL and relational database schema design.
• Ability to work from 0 to 1 with a resourceful mindset.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build blockchain integration services across networks (EVM, Solana, Polkadot, XRP, etc.).
• Build and maintain gRPC microservices in Go within an event-driven architecture using NATS JetStream.
• Implement transaction state machines with idempotency and distributed locking.
• Integrate with custody providers for secure signing and wallet management.
• Monitor networks for deposits, confirmations, and anomalies; participate in on-call rotation.
• Communicate with client technical teams when necessary.
