Job summary

Sunayu, LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to drive ITSM modernization for the Air Force District of Washington. You will build, configure, and deploy automated workflows, custom apps, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.

The role requires 4+ years of ServiceNow development, strong JavaScript/Glide APIs, ITAM/ITOM expertise, and relevant certifications. You will work with architects to deliver secure, scalable solutions across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 6+ years.
• At least 4 years of ServiceNow development and scripting experience (JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, XML).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer is required.
• Advanced ServiceNow certifications (CIS ITSM) preferred.
• Strong ITAM (SAM/HAM) and ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping) expertise.
• Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations and platform governance.

Responsibilities

• SAM & ITAM Module Engineering.
• Configure SAM Pro, SaaS Management, and HAM Pro integrations.
• Implement license metrics, normalization rules, and automated reconciliation engines.
• Design end-to-end asset lifecycle automations using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
• Platform development: design, code, debug, test, and deploy on ServiceNow.
• Implement clean logic with Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies.
• Optimize ServiceNow data models, CMDB relationships, and asset schemas.
• Develop integrations, data management & reporting.
• Data ingestion, mapping, and scheduled jobs for third-party data.
• Build SAM dashboards and compliance reports.
• Lead upgrades, testing, and ATF validations.
• Explore ServiceNow AI features (Now Assist) to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with IT Asset Managers, Procurement, and ITIL owners.
• Document architecture and mentor teammates.
