Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a hands-on Manager, ServiceNow Senior Platform Administrator in Tampa to own the day-to-day health, stability, and security of Pfizer's ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM/HAM, CSM, HRSD, and ECP. You will report into the Platform Owner and drive core administration, upgrades, and access controls in a multi‑module instance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on ServiceNow platform administration.
• Hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience managing platform upgrades, patches, and release cycles.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, integrations, and best practices.
• Experience implementing platform security, data privacy, access controls, and compliance.
• Experience across lifecycle: development, release management, upgrades, operational support, continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a complex enterprise.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform across production and non-production environments.
• Lead upgrades, patches, cloning, and release validation with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot incidents; escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation including configuration records and runbooks.
• Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and AI-enabled features.
• Support evaluation and rollout of new platform capabilities (e.g., Now Assist).
• Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems and mentor colleagues when appropriate.
