Job summary

Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) seeks a senior leader to own the ServiceNow Platform, guiding governance, strategy, and service delivery across the enterprise. This role supervises staff, coordinates platform services, and aligns platform operations with agency goals.

The ideal candidate brings extensive IT leadership, governance, and cross‑functional collaboration experience within a public or large private organization, with a focus on enterprise platform management.

Qualifications

• Requires four (4) years of college with coursework in management information systems, IT, or related field.
• Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible IT admin experience in a public or private organization.
• Requires three (3) years of professional experience supervising IT professionals in a large complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational direction, governance, and strategic alignment of the ServiceNow Platform.
• Direct staff engaged in platform administration, development, implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Serve as full-line supervisor and primary operational liaison across business units, vendors, and leadership.
