Pacific Life is seeking a high-impact ServiceNow Platform Technology Lead to join our Technology End-User Services Team in Charlotte, NC. You will own the blueprint, define the technical architecture, and drive scalable integrations across the enterprise to ensure a fast, simple user experience.

The role requires 6-10+ years in IT with 4-6+ years hands-on ServiceNow, a BS degree or equivalent, and deep expertise in platform architecture, ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, and automation.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years in IT with 4-6+ years hands-on ServiceNow.
• BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing multiple ServiceNow modules across an enterprise.
• Deep expertise in platform architecture, ITSM best practices, CMDB/CSDM, integration design, Flow Designer and automation, scoped applications, instance performance optimization, and security and access design.
• The judgment to say no to a customization, and the communication skills to explain why.

Responsibilities

• Own the blueprint: define the technical architecture of our ServiceNow platform and set standards for developers and admins.
• Design solutions worth reusing and promote configuration over customization.
• Connect the enterprise with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and event-driven patterns.
• Protect platform health: monitor performance, plan upgrades, and retire debt.
• Enable automation and AI with self-service workflows and intelligent support capabilities.
• Mentor developers and admins, drive architectural clarity in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
