Job summary

Accelera Solutions in Chantilly, VA is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Administrator with DoD clearance to support an enterprise ITSM and service desk program. The role requires on-site work five days a week near self-hosted ServiceNow instances and end-user environments.

You will collaborate with developers, PMs, testers, and production support to implement iterative solutions, manage updates and patch cycles, and provide production support and troubleshooting across the platform.

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ relevant experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Active DoD secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline.
• Certifications: Certified ServiceNow Administrator or Certified ServiceNow Developer.
• Must meet 8570/8140 DoD Cyber Workforce Compliance requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ServiceNow Platform Administrator within a large enterprise.
• Create and maintain internal technical docs, manuals, policies, and processes for ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with Developers, PMs, Testers, and Production Support to deliver iterative solutions.
• Manage and maintain self-hosted ServiceNow instances.
• On-site work in Chantilly, VA five days a week near ServiceNow environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation for platform support.
• Oversee platform health, usage, operations, and performance.
• Coordinate patch and upgrade cycles with teams to minimize impact.
• Assist with update set promotions and production deployments.
• Provide logs and artifacts for troubleshooting; support clone-downs.
• Contribute to architecture design and compliance reviews; identify risks.
