Job summary

Kwik Trip, Inc. is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for our La Crosse campus. You will act as a technical leader, designing, configuring, and delivering ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and CMDB/CSDM.

You’ll guide an offshore team and mentor junior developers while driving the Reimagine program to baseline, low‑deviation implementation. You will partner with product owners and operations to build, test, and deploy capabilities, ensuring quality, governance, and timely

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 6+ years of professional hands‑on ServiceNow development experience, including senior/lead capacity.
• Experience delivering ServiceNow products or major modules end to end.
• Experience reimplementing or remediating instances toward baseline / reducing customization is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ServiceNow solutions using business rules, client scripts, UI policies, scripted REST APIs, Flow Designer/Integration Hub, and related capabilities.
• Deliver the Reimagine effort by reimplementing capabilities to a clean baseline state and minimize customizations.
• Upgrade CSM to new RSM/RO products as part of Reimagine—from requirements through production.
• Design and refine CMDB classes, identification and reconciliation rules, CMDB workflows, and CSDM‑aligned service modeling.
• Support ITOM capabilities (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management) and integration with CMDB/CSDM.
• Provide technical direction to offshore and onsite teams; conduct reviews and set standards.
• Mentor junior developers through reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing; promote ServiceNow best practices.
• Build and support ITSM, ITOM, CSM/RSM/RO, HRSD, CMDB, and related capabilities with product owners and ops teams.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and integration failures; implement durable fixes.
• Lead releases, testing, and deployment activities; validate in sub-prod and production.
• Create and maintain technical docs, diagrams, and development standards.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap for the ServiceNow platform; establish governance and readiness.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and app teams on integrations and platform hygiene.
