About the Role: Kwik Trip is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to design and implement robust technology systems and comprehensive availability and recovery solutions. This role bridges strategic business needs with IT capabilities, delivering scalable, secure, and efficient architectures that ensure continuity and support organizational growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Design scalable, secure, and efficient technology architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Define integration patterns, technology standards and frameworks for IT infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and testing disaster recovery plans.
• Serve as an informal technical leader for System Administration and Availability/Recovery teams.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture standards, governance and review processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and mentor peers to promote best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in system administration, disaster recovery, and architecture.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.
• Expertise in cloud-native and SaaS architectures, virtualization, storage systems and Active Directory environments.
• Advanced experience with disaster recovery planning and availability/recovery systems.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and communication skills.
