Aptonet is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer in the Washington, DC area to lead and drive an enterprise ServiceNow implementation across multiple modules. The role requires hands-on coding, technical leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to advance the ServiceNow roadmap.

The successful candidate will specialize in CSM, HAM, and HRSD, while guiding junior staff, ensuring best practices, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of proven ServiceNow development experience.
• At least 6 years in design, development, and support; 4 years leading software projects.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead custom development and technical reviews for ServiceNow modules and provide technical guidance.
• Gather and document business and system requirements and support use cases and testing procedures.
• Assist with architecture, design, management and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
• Design deployment plans, SOPs and system architecture for projects.
• Develop Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs with advanced scripting.
• Support Agile development with daily scrums and ceremonies and create documentation.
