Job summary

Matlen Silver seeks a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a 5-month contract. The role is hands-on, focusing on configuring, developing, and extending the ServiceNow platform to meet evolving business needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, deliver new functionality through SDLC, and strengthen CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of ServiceNow development, strong scripting, and experience with ITSM modules, Integrations, and REST APIs.

Qualifications

5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow Development Studio.
Strong scripting experience with GlideScript and UI Scripts.
Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Integration Hub.
Strong experience with Service Catalog.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proven experience developing integrations using Integration Hub.
Experience with REST APIs.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SDLC.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Certified ServiceNow Administrator required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and implement custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, and solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Configure and customize existing ServiceNow modules to improve functionality and efficiency.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using Integration Hub and REST APIs.
Develop secure, high-quality, well-documented ServiceNow code and configurations.
Perform application testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow solutions across various components.
Support ServiceNow development and releases within a formal SDLC.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
Stay current with new ServiceNow features and best practices.
Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to end users and junior team members.
Produce clear and concise technical documentation and release notes.
