Job summary

Smartcloudsolution is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to deliver secure, FedRAMP-compliant solutions in a Columbus, Ohio environment. The role focuses on advanced development, platform governance, and collaboration with architects, PMs, and stakeholders.

You will lead code reviews, support monthly releases, and mentor junior developers, while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and strong security practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• CAD/ CIS certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of secure development in regulated environments (FedRAMP).
• Experience supporting complex enterprise workflows, integrations, and release cycles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and enhance ServiceNow applications and integrations per enterprise standards.
• Build secure, scalable code following FedRAMP guidelines.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for platform defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and design options.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews and maintain quality across the team.
• Support monthly releases, regression testing, UAT, and platform stability efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation and architectural artifacts.
• Mentor junior developers and agency developers on best practices.
• Ensure governance, security, and enterprise vs. agency development responsibilities.
• Stay current on ServiceNow features and industry trends for reliability improvements.
• Contribute to process improvements and modernization of development methodologies.
