Job summary

UNICON is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer (Programmer 5) to deliver secure, scalable ServiceNow solutions within a FedRAMP environment at our Columbus site. The role demands deep development expertise, strong platform knowledge, and disciplined SDLC practices.

The position focuses on design, development, and integration of ServiceNow apps, with leadership in code reviews, release activities, and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring U.S. citizenship or a Green Card.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• CAD and CIS certifications (or equivalent) required or adjacent.
• Strong secure development practices in regulated FedRAMP/GCC High environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise workflows and platform releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and enhance ServiceNow applications, integrations, and custom solutions aligned to enterprise standards.
• Build high-quality, secure, and scalable code following best practices and FedRAMP guidelines.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for platform defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and align with strategy.
• Conduct code reviews, maintaining quality across the development team.
• Support monthly releases, regression testing, UAT cycles, and platform stability efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation and architectural artifacts.
• Mentor junior developers and agency developers, guiding best practices and standards.
