Job summary

New River Systems Corporation seeks a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable ServiceNow solutions for government programs in a regulated environment. You will own complex apps end‑to‑end, write production‑grade code, and coordinate with government stakeholders in a matrix delivery setting to meet mission needs.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands‑on expertise across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, GRC, and custom applications.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and platform scripting.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP, MID Server, JDBC, and related technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with CMDB/data modeling, Discovery, Service Mapping, and platform performance tuning.
• Experience developing and maintaining scoped/custom applications.
• Familiarity with Service Portal, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap (preferred).
• Strong understanding of security models, access controls, upgrade strategies, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in classified IC or DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, SPM, and custom apps.
• Lead advanced custom application engineering including data models, Scripted REST APIs, and Flow Designer automations.
• Extend and customize IRM/GRC objects to meet DoD and IC requirements; build advanced case management and dashboards.
• Deliver production-grade integrations with federal systems (eMASS, ACAS/Tenable, AD/PKI, ERP) in secure environments.
• Support full SDLC including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and optimization.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and governance aligned with federal standards; support upgrades and sustainment.
• Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and government stakeholders; provide SME guidance.
