Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a DoD client in Chantilly, VA. On-site with a team of 4–6 developers, you will mentor, design, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.

You will translate business needs into scalable workflows, lead integrations via REST/SOAP, enforce coding standards, and guide junior staff within an Agile framework. A TS/SCI‑eligible clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5–7+ years in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow scripting APIs.
• Strong experience building and managing complex REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to articulate complex concepts.
• Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
• Develop Service Portals using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
• Translate business concepts into scalable technical designs and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance.
• Architect and secure integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
• Manage deployments using Update Sets, CI/CD, and ServiceNow repository.
