Job summary

LITIT in Vilnius, Lithuania, seeks a Core Lead Developer to guide the Core & Platform stream and act as the technical backbone for the ServiceNow landscape. You will shape platform architecture and mentor the team, translating complex decisions for Product Owners and leadership.

Qualifications

Senior-level ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and development: CMDB/CSDM, Flow Designer, Workflow, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, GlideRecord/GlideAjax.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and event-driven integrations.
Experience with performance optimisation and security best practices in ServiceNow.
Understanding of release cycles, upgrades, deprecations, and technical debt management.
Experience with one or more modules beyond ITSM (ITOM/SPM/HAM-SAM/GRC).
ServiceNow certifications across modules are a strong advantage.
Experience working in SAFe/Scrum environments.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and mentor developers.
Willingness to travel as required by projects.

Responsibilities

Act as the senior technical lead for the Core & Platform stream and provide technical guidance to the development team.
Make architectural decisions beyond individual stories, focusing on scalability, interfaces, and long-term platform strategy.
Design and develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform and multiple modules.
Own platform architecture elements (CMDB, CSDM, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, GlideRecord/GlideAjax).
Design and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and event-driven patterns.
Ensure CSDM-based data modelling and high data quality.
Apply security and performance best practices in platform design.
Support release cycles, upgrades, and deprecation management.
Balance custom development vs OOTB functionality and manage technical debt.
Collaborate with Architecture teams to align with enterprise goals.
Contribute to backlog prioritisation and solution design in SAFe/Scrum.
Conduct code reviews and promote technical quality.
Mentor developers technically as needed.
Translate complex options into business-friendly recommendations.
Collaborate with interim Product Owner in a dual-lead model.
