Job summary

LightFeather is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and optimize ServiceNow solutions across the CMDB, ITSM, Service Catalog, and custom applications, working directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing federal environment.

Major responsibilities include designing, configuring, developing, and implementing baseline and custom applications and enhancements in ServiceNow, including

Qualifications

• Active Secret or higher clearance.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring on the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience implementing or maturing a CMDB, including Discovery and data reconciliation.
• Experience building Service Catalog items, workflows, and integrations.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience working on project teams that leverage Agile/Scrum.
• Strong communication with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow configurations, custom apps, and automated workflows.
• Implement the CMDB, including CI class design, data model, discovery, and reconciliation rules.
• Maintain CMDB health, data quality, and governance practices.
• Build advanced Service Catalog items, including catalog client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer automations.
• Support ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge).
• Design and implement integrations with REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub.
• Participate in client calls and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Execute testing to ensure high-quality deployments and maintain release docs.
• Identify risks and design gaps early in the lifecycle.
