Job summary

LightFeather is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and optimize ServiceNow solutions across the CMDB, ITSM, Service Catalog, and custom applications. This hybrid Washington, DC role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, CAD certification, and a track record with CMDB, Discovery, and integrations. U.S.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance or eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.
• 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow development/configuration experience.
• Experience implementing/maturing a CMDB, including Discovery and data reconciliation.
• Strong server-side and client-side JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes.
• Experience building Service Catalog items, workflows, and integrations.
• ServiceNow CAD certification is required.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum project teams.
• Ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders; strong listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow configurations, custom apps, and automated workflows.
• Implement CMDB including CI class/data model design and reconciliation rules.
• Establish and maintain CMDB health, data quality, and governance practices.
• Build advanced Service Catalog items, catalog client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer automations.
• Support improvements and optimization of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge).
• Design and implement integrations with REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub.
• Participate in client calls and technical design discussions translating requirements into actionable solutions.
• Execute unit/integration/regression testing for high-quality deployments.
• Maintain update sets, release docs, and technical design records.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and design gaps early in development lifecycle.
