Job summary

International Executive Service Corps in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Lead ServiceNow CMDB Architect to own the enterprise CSDM strategy, automated discovery, and data governance for a DHS/CBP environment on-site.

The role focuses on designing CI classes, leading workshops with stakeholders, integrating discovery patterns, and delivering governance metrics including MTTR and change success.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (no dual citizenship).
• Current DHS Suitability or active CBP security access.
• 100% on-site availability.
• 10+ years IT experience (or 6+ years with a BS, 4+ years with an MS).
• 5+ years enterprise ITSM, CMDB, automated discovery, and CSDM architecture.
• Ability to lead cross-functional alignment sessions and translate requirements into governance models.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Model CSDM: design CI classes, attributes, relationships per best practices.
• Drive stakeholder alignment through workshops with Application Owners and IT Ops.
• Define requirements for automated discovery, ticketing, and monitoring tools.
• Establish data-quality scoring, automated remediation, and executive dashboards for KPIs (MTTR, change success).
