Job summary

Royal Cyber, a global IT consulting partner, seeks a Servicenow CMDB Developer in the United States to design, develop, and maintain the CMDB aligned with CSDM best practices. You will configure Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, and IRE, driving data quality and governance across ITOM/ITSM processes.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, applications, and operations teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 4+ years ServiceNow development.
• Hands-on with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, MID Server.
• Proficient in ITOM/ITSM and Configuration Management.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, Service Catalog, and Integrations.
• Strong JavaScript development skills.
• Familiarity with Service Portal and Performance Analytics is a plus.
• HAM/SAM knowledge is beneficial.
• Platform upgrades and instance management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB in alignment with CSDM best practices.
• Configure and manage Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, and IRE.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow apps using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Implement CMDB governance processes, data certification, reconciliation rules, and data quality improvements.
• Configure and maintain CI classes, CI relationships, identification rules, and reconciliation definitions.
• Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise applications.
• Work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure accurate CMDB population.
• Develop Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer automations, and approval processes as required.
• Monitor CMDB Health Dashboards and implement corrective actions to improve completeness, correctness, and compliance.
• Support platform upgrades, deployments, production issues, and release management activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and knowledge transfer documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
