Job summary

Akumen, Inc. is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of hands-on design, development, and maintenance of enterprise ServiceNow applications. You will lead complex projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Responsibilities include building modules, workflows, dashboards, and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, plus code quality and documentation. A Top Secret clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, and architecture.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow applications.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and Glide scripting for client- and server-side code.
• Experience with UI Builder and modern ServiceNow technologies.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules and integrations using REST/SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow applications, including modules, workflows, forms, and dashboards.
• Architect scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals and best practices.
• Develop reusable components and libraries to improve maintainability.
• Design and implement integrations with REST and SOAP APIs and secure auth.
• Oversee testing strategies and optimize performance and reliability.
• Plan upgrades and migrations of legacy systems to ServiceNow.
• Create technical documentation and training materials; mentor junior developers.
