Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Senior ServiceNow Developer/Architect to lead architecture, development, governance, and modernization across a growing ServiceNow environment. You will drive integrations, CMDB, asset management, and enterprise workflows while partnering with business and technical teams.

This contract-to-hire role requires 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, CSA certification, and the ability to work onsite in Omaha, NE.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and platform engineering.
• Experience leading complex ServiceNow implementations and architectural decisions.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow data model, ACLs, scoped applications, and platform security.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP services, MID Servers, and enterprise integrations.
• Senior technical owner balancing architecture, development, governance, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• ServiceNow CSA certification required.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise ServiceNow applications.
• Develop and maintain business rules, UI actions, workflows, and automations.
• Design and support REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems.
• Drive platform strategy across ITSM, CMDB, HAM, SAM, and future modules.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and roadmaps.
• Establish governance, standards, release processes, and docs.
• Lead platform upgrades, testing, and remediation activities.
• Manage backlog and ensure high-quality delivery and deployment.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, mentoring, and escalation support.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release management.
