Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician IV to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, installing, servicing and repairing commercial food equipment, including HVACR systems. The role requires high mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving and customer service skills, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 7+ years of food equipment service experience and/or 4+ years of HVACR service experience.
• Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
• EPA Certification required; CFESA/NATE/Hobart certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration equipment.
• Install and service commercial food equipment; lead complex installs as needed.
• Routinely plan, lead, and execute projects including installations and turnkeys.
• Maintain and repair equipment for customers on contract or on a T&M basis.
• Read and interpret schematics and service manuals; ensure safety procedures are followed.
