Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, including installation and servicing of commercial food equipment. The role requires the ability to read schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and operate safely in various environments.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED with 4–7 years of service experience (or 2–4 years HVACR). Certifications such as CFESA/NATE/Hobart and EPA are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 4–7 years of food equipment service and/or 2–4 years HVACR service experience.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• EPA certification and trade certifications (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs and powers up commercial food equipment and leads advanced installs as needed.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration equipment.
• Interprets schematics and follows standard operating procedures.
• Maintains documentation and completes preventative maintenance tasks.
