Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician with strong HVACR and mechanical troubleshooting skills to service Hobart-brand equipment on-site for our customers. The role involves installation, repair, and preventive maintenance across commercial food service systems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 4–7 years of food equipment service experience, plus HVACR experience. EPA and CFESA/NATE/Hobart certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4-7 years in food equipment service and/or 2-4 years HVACR service.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate preferred.
• Certification in CFESA / NATE / Hobart or EPA certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and repair commercial food equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, HVACR).
• Maintain equipment on contract or T&M basis and follow service manuals.
• Interpret schematics and read operating diagrams.
• Ensure safety and follow SOPs and PPE guidelines.
• Promote quality service and maintain customer relationships.
