Job summary

Vertical Mechanical Group Inc, headquartered in Reston, VA, seeks a Service Project Manager to lead mechanical installation and service projects across the DMV area. You will coordinate with project executives, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets VMG standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years as a Project Manager in mechanical construction, strong HVAC knowledge, and solid communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment and mechanical installation processes.
• Experience managing tenant buildouts, retrofits, upfits, renovations, and service-related projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, commercial construction projects, and building systems.

• Manage mechanical installation and service projects from start to finish.
• Keep projects on time and within budget, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Oversee project schedules, deadlines, and budgets; manage multiple projects simultaneously.
