Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Plumber III to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install complex commercial plumbing systems across diverse facilities nationwide. You will lead service calls, mentor junior plumbers, and ensure code-compliant, reliable solutions with a safety-first mindset.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a journeyman license (or ability to obtain), and strong customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on commercial plumbing service and maintenance experience.
• Journeyman-level proficiency in diagnosing and resolving advanced system issues independently.
• Valid journeyman plumber license (or ability to obtain); backflow certification preferred; medical gas certification (if applicable).
• Physical demands: lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial plumbing systems across diverse facilities.
• Perform advanced service and installation work: fixture replacements, pipe rerouting, leak detection, pressure testing, system flushing, pump servicing.
• Lead service calls from start to finish: assess on-site issues, communicate with customers, coordinate parts/materials, complete repairs and follow up for satisfaction.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance, system inspections, water quality testing, and safety/compliance activities.
