Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Plumber III to serve as a journeyman-level expert across commercial plumbing systems. You will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain hydronic, domestic water, drainage, and medical gas systems while leading complex service calls and mentoring junior plumbers.

The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, and high-quality customer service across hospitals, schools, offices, and industrial sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive commercial plumbing service experience.
• Journeyman-level proficiency in diagnosing and resolving advanced issues.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial plumbing systems.
• Lead service calls from start to finish with customers, parts coordination, and scheduling.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and water quality testing to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with IPC/UPC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Document activities and maintain records for billing and warranties.
• Provide guidance to junior plumbers and promote safety and quality.
• Maintain organized work areas, tools, and PPE.
