Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Plumber II to perform routine to moderately complex repairs, maintenance, and installations across commercial systems in diverse facilities. You’ll build on foundational skills, handle backflow testing where certified, and assist senior plumbers on advanced calls while mentoring entry-level teammates.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to codes, and customer communication, with opportunities for hands-on training, certifications, and clear advancement paths

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on commercial plumbing service, repair, installation and maintenance.
• Journeyman license preferred; backflow certification a plus; valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments; safety-focused.
• Strong commitment to OSHA regulations, codes, and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on commercial plumbing systems.
• Diagnose leaks, clogs, and equipment malfunctions; assist on complex cases with supervision.
• Install and replace fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and piping per code and blueprints.
• Conduct backflow testing (if certified) and water quality checks where applicable.
• Lead field calls: assess issues, communicate timelines, coordinate parts, complete work, and follow up.
