Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Plumber III to perform journeyman-level commercial plumbing on our projects across the United States. You will work with independence on complex installations, troubleshoot challenging issues, and mentor junior team members while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of progressive commercial plumbing experience, a Journeyman license, and a commitment to professional workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive commercial plumbing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Journeyman plumbing license required (or the ability to obtain one promptly). OSHA 30 preferred. Valid driver's license required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate irregular sites; safety-conscious on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform journeyman-level plumbing tasks including layout, assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, waste, vent, gas, and hydronic systems).
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings to execute work accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues with minimal supervision.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Plumber I and II team members on the job site.
• Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Complete required paperwork, as-builts, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Actively support and promote a strong safety culture on every project.
