Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Plumber III to diagnose, repair, and install complex commercial plumbing systems across hospitals, schools, offices, industrial sites, and multi-family buildings. You will lead service calls, mentor junior plumbers, and ensure code-compliant, safe, and efficient solutions nationwide.

This senior role requires 5+ years of experience, a journeyman license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing service, repair, installation, and maintenance experience.
• Journeyman license required (ability to obtain in jurisdiction).
• High school diploma or GED; trade training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Physically capable for demanding field work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial plumbing systems.
• Perform advanced service and installation work: fixtures, piping, leaks, pressure tests, pumps.
• Lead service calls from on-site assessment to completion and customer follow-up.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections to minimize downtime.
• Maintain compliance with IPC/UPC codes and safety standards (OSHA).
• Document service activities thoroughly for records, billing, and warranty.
• Provide daily guidance to junior plumbers and share best practices.
• Keep work areas, tools, and vehicles organized and safe.
