Job summary

10x Genomics is seeking a Senior Service Parts Planner to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of spare parts, tools, and related assets for field service. You will forecast demand, optimize stocking strategies, coordinate returns, and work closely with supply chain, logistics, quality, manufacturing, sustaining engineering, and field service to improve uptime and meet service-level commitments.

Responsibilities

• Spares Planning: forecast demand, set up planning methods, maintain MRP/master data, manage obsolescence.End-of-life notifications and last-time buys coordination.
• Inventory Management & Parts Availability: track inventory, manage spares production/refurbishment work orders, escalate shortages, prioritize based on lead times and impact.
• Field Material Returns Management: implement return processes, track receipts, triage, disposition, and coordinate RMAs and warranty claims.
• Part Reliability & Change Management: handle quarantines/recalls, coordinate ECOs, ensure correct part attributes in SFDC/Oracle.
